David Francis Roche, 92 of Nashua, NH died Tuesday December 12, 2017 at St, Joseph hospital in Nashua surrounded by loved ones.
Born April 30, 1925 in Haverhill, MA he was the son of the late Faber and Evelyn (Sullivan) Roche and widow of Mary Jane (Bryant) Roche. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Brittany Roche.
David served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII stationed in England, and later retired from Raytheon Corporation. He enjoyed fishing and loved his New England sports teams. He was also a former assistant coach with the Nashua Babe Ruth Baseball League. In his retirement he enjoyed many winters in Florida with his wife. He loved doing jig saw puzzles, reading and was an accomplished woodworker with numerous items around the home that he had made over the years. His greatest pride in life was his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Michael Roche and his wife Cynthia, of Old Lyme, CT and Thomas Roche and his wife Donna, of Antrim, NH; two daughters and son-in-laws, Elizabeth Etlinger and her husband Stephen and Susan Spencer and her husband Douglas, all of Merrimack, NH; one sister, Marilyn Proulx and her daughter Bridget, of Vinita, OK as well as nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday December 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester St., Nashua, NH 03064. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the church. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua.
