Ronald M. Duclos, age 78, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua. He was born on November 7, 1939 in Woonsocket, RI, the son of the late Julien and Bella (Trudeau) Duclos.
Ronald was a communicant at St. John XXIII Parish (Infant Jesus Church) and also at St. Louis De Gonzague Parish. He loved going to church and singing and will be fondly remembered by his neighbors for his front porch gospel singing with his headphones on. He enjoyed working with plants and was considered a “green thumb” of sorts and he also enjoyed going on long walks, watching New England sports and doing laundry.
Above all else, Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. His heart was kind and open, often taking people in as his own and showing them love when they needed it the most. He was a grandfather and father to all and will be remembered for his good nature and uncanny sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his wife Irene Alma (Lizzotte) Duclos, who passed away in 2007, several brothers and one sister.
Ronald is survived by his son Michael Duclos and his wife Alicia of Nashua and his daughter Lisa Duclos, also of Nashua; four grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Piper and Harper and sisters, Claire and her husband Bob Dubois of Merrimack and Jeanne Bennet of Texas. Ronald also leaves behind a special friend who he considered a son, Clarence Frost and his children and many other loving extended family members and friends.
