Ruth (Schachter) Ginsburg, 86, a longtime resident of Nashua, died on November 10, 2017 at the Arbors of Bedford with her husband and family by her side.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1931, a daughter of the late Jacob and Lifscha (Singer) Schachter.
Mrs. Ginsburg was the wife of George Ginsburg, they had shared almost 60 years of marriage.
She had retired as a technical editor from Hewlett Packard, after starting with Digital Equipment Corp. She is also remembered for her many years of public service with both the NH Legislature and the Nashua Board of Education.
Following her graduation from high school, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from Brooklyn College.
SERVICES: A Funeral Service in her honor will be held at Temple Beth Abraham, 4 Raymond St., Nashua on Sunday afternoon (today), November 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Interment prayers and burial will follow at Beth Abraham Cemetery, Nashua.
