David P. Morse, 65, was a longtime resident of Nashua, more recently of Rye. He passed away on November 5, 2017.
Dave was born in Nashua, on July 9, 1952, a son of the late Richard and Edna Morse.
Dave is remembered as a devoted father and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping and fishing in all seasons. Dave was happiest when he was fishing and hiking up on Moosehead Lake in Maine, or out on the ocean pulling up a big striped bass with friends.
Dave was a fire fighter with Nashua Fire Rescue. He joined Nashua Fire Rescue in 1976. He retired in 2006 with 30 years of prestigious service. Dave was also a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Airborne as a paratrooper from 1971-1975.
Dave is survived by his son Ryan, daughter in law Kyle, and siblings Debbie and Doug. Dave was preceded by his brother Richard.
SERVICES: Memorial Visiting Hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Friday afternoon, November 10, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nashua Humane Society or New Hampshire Audubon Society in honor of Dave’s love of nature and animals.
