NFDA’s Pursuit of Excellence Award Recipient

At Davis Funeral Home, we are very proud to announce that for 2017 we’ve been selected as a recipient of the prestigious National Funeral Directors Association “Pursuit of Excellence” Award. Every year since 1995, Davis Funeral Home has received this award which recognizes the top funeral homes in the United States.

This award is presented annually to around 200 funeral homes based on their ability to provide quality professional funeral services, abide by funeral ethics, educate their communities, and offer outstanding programs and resources to the grieving families they serve.

National Funeral Directors Association Pursuit of Excellence award winner

With over 20,000 plus funeral homes in the United States, the recipients of this award are decided upon based on an essay submission. After all of the essays are reviewed, a committee announces the list of winners they have determined are the most deserving of the award. As a c10-time winner, Davis Funeral Home has also had the honor of being inducted into the NFDA Hall of Excellence.

At Davis Funeral Home, we consider it an honor to have received the NFDA’s “Pursuit of Excellence” Award multiple times, and strive every year to be a recipient. More importantly though, this award means that the families in our community have benefited from exceptional care and the dedicated work of our staff.

The NFDA will present the award to each of this year’s recipients at the All-Star Recognition Ceremony on October 30th during the 2017 National Funeral Directors Association International Convention and Expo in Boston, Massachusetts.
